I am the ECS for the Silverdale Stake in Silverdale, Washington. I have been working with my stake president. Our Emergency Communication Plan in cludes the use od CB Radios, FRS & GMRS radios, ans Ham Radio as we get more active amateurs. Our uses amateur radio as one of our communication tools and not focused on it totally. Are goal is to get information from the members to the stake president and the on to the regional leadership. --I am glad to see we are on the right track.

My wife, Denise, KD7STQ, and myself are the Emergency Preparedness & Communications Specialists for the new Eagle Mountain Utah Central Stake in Eagle Mountain, Utah. We're having an Emergency Preparedness Expo Saturday, June 23, 2012 at our Stake Center here in EM. If you are in the area please drop by. Much to see and learn. Open to any neat ideas. Please email me with them.

This is the 4th time I've been called to this position. Priors are Orlando Florida Stake, Payson Utah West Stake, Springville Utah West Stake and now the EMCentral Stake. Our new stake presidency is very big on emergency prep.

We are calling 2-3 members in each ward to be hamops and have a commercial radio system as well.

We are a few months into a Los Altos Ca. Stake emergency communications network. We have a monthly net on the 1st. Sunday of each month at 20:00. (147.560 simplex) Jim Wiseman Ki6YYR from Fremont introduced himself on the net and mentioned this website- it will be interesting to share ideas... Phil K6PHL

Can you please email a copy of the emergency preparedness plan? I was at the meeting in March but can't seem to pull up the Plan.
